Islamic quotes immediately strike a chord with Muslims as these motivational phrases automatically connect with a Muslim’s belief on their purpose of existence in this world.
Generally speaking quotes can motivate you to do positive things in your life on a daily basis. Learned men study and understand deeper meanings of life and its surroundings, this enables them to make informed decisions and make judgments with enlightened thought and wisdom.
Famous quotes can be found in various literature from all ages, the Companions of the Prophet (saw) had the best intellect and they trained their disposition (nafsiyyah) to be extremely Islamic i.e. adhere to halal and haram in all aspects of their lives very strictly!
There are thousands of quotes of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) in the Sahih Collections as ahadith. His companions also said exceptional quotes so that humans can easily understand and implement them immediately in their lives to be more God conscious (have Taqwa).
Famous or not, Islamic Quotes should have an effect in your lives so that it makes you more Islamic i.e. be more God conscious (have Taqwa). It shouldn’t be something that is taken lightly as they were never meant to be used in a passive way.
I hope these Islamic quotes from Scholars of Islam serve as a reminder and genuine advice so that we are able to take the knowledge and apply it our own lives.

It is interesting that it is difficult to find quotes on the kind treatment of women. Where is “keep not your wives private. Keep not your wives as concubines”. can you trace it for me? Thank you.
There are also frequent translations in effect to admonish a woman you can “beat” her. NO. In fact there are over 5o translations of the Arabic term so why use this one negative and abusive one?
A man came to the Prophet PBUH as he regretted telling his wife he would beat her a hundred times. Prophet PBUH told him to collect 100 pieces of grass and TAP her once with it. Hardly beating is it?
Further Prophet PBUH was so angry with one wife he told her “I would hit you with a toothpick if I didn’t know I would have to answer to Allah swt”. Now if Prophet did not beat his wives and knew he would have to answer for it to Allah swt, then who do the men who beat women think they are to do so?
Have they not heard the fatwah’s against it?
One imam I know, despite references declined to share this important fatwah. Yet is it not so that scholars who mislead the ummah will go to hellfire?
It is time. long overdue to refer to the qu’raan in a language you understand, surely? The qu’raan was brought to the Quraish BECAUSE it was their language and so they would have no excuse to deny and disbelieve.
How can we follow qu’raanic instructions and if scholars are misleading us?
This challenge in in good intention and I wait to see if anyone replies. Thank you /Jzk.
Let us live Islam the simplest way we know based on the Qur-an and Hadith starting with the basics. Don’t mind those who may be misleading people for their interest or for whatever reasons they may have, surely whoever mislead anyone shall be accountable to Allah… Let us continue respecting our ‘Ulama, they are the warasatul-Ambiya.
Abu Turab
Ali (a.s) should always be written as Ali (A.S) and not R.A…… for he is for whom The LORD himself fixed his own house, Kaaba as his place of birth 🙂
R.a are those, who spent their life in making Allah accept their work.
And how do you even know that they are R.a?
Anonymous_decipher .. Please read Quran to find out if Allah set accepted the intentions and deeds of Noble humans I.e., sahabi e Rasool . Hz AbuBakr(R.A) Hz Umar(R.A) Hz Usman (R.A) Hz Ali (R.A). OUR MUSLIM WORLD HAVE DISSECTED INTO SO MANY DIVISIONS AND INFIGHTING AMONGST US DUE TO OUR SHIA SUNNI differences.. ALLAH guide us all.
