As we draw near to the end of Ramadan 2013 and day of Eid slowly creeps up closer to us. Now is a good time to start sending Eid cards and greetings to your fellow muslims who have fasted in the month of Ramadan.
No doubt you’ll be flooded with text messages and emails from all your relatives and friends from across the world. It is a day of happiness and rejoicing in a Halal way. But most important of all, it is a day of glorifying our creator for granting us this day of Eid.
So if you are going to be sending Eid cards to your family and friends, then you’ve come to the right place. I’ve collected a good choice of greeting cards for you. I hope you will enjoy these and please let me know what you think by leaving your comments.
Before you download the cards, here are some reminders for the day of Eid ul-Fitr and don’t forget to give the Zakat al-fitr before Ramadan ends. So that the less fortunate muslims around the world can also have a good time on this day of ours.
The Eid straight after Ramadan is Eid ul-fitr. On the day of Eid (al-fitr) it is recommended to:
- have a bath/shower
- wear clean/new clothes
- eat odd number of dates
- say the Takbir
- proceed to the Mosque for prayers
- return home from the mosque via a different route
