25 Famous Muslim Converts

image of famous muslim convertsMuslim converts are on the rise, around 6000 people embrace and convert to Islam each year in the UK. Muslim converts found that societal problems in the west such as alcohol and drunkenness, a lack of moral values among other things were all factors in why they decided to convert to Islam. Women muslim converts also found that they were really liberated once they started to dress more moderately.

If Islam is so oppressive as it is portrayed in the media in the west then surely one can ask why are so many people in the west becoming muslim? Many of them are women!

Islam is for all of humanity and not just the Arabs, Islam looks at the nature of each gender and then addresses their problems. Men and women are different and Islam recognises that so Islam addresses each genders’ issue accordingly. In the west where the standard is a man, you’ll have the usual rhetoric of gender equality so if men are able to do such and such then women should also be able to do it, regardless of their obvious natural differences.

Islam recognises that men are better at some things and women are also better at other things, thus leaving each gender to be the best at what they are naturally good at.

In the religion of Islam no one is above another, no one is above the law including the so-called ‘elite’.

It is for these reasons and more that many people find solace in Islam and are become muslim converts.
