Islam and art goes a long way back! You just have to visit any of the countries in the Muslim World to realise how beautiful Islamic Calligraphy is. Or you could just pop in to any of your local Mosques in any country and you are bound to find some sort of Calligraphy or design displayed on their walls. In Turkey and other countries there are fine examples of marble, mosaic tiles with exceptional designs.

Islamic Calligraphy styles are very creative, colourful and complex in design. Many pictures found around the world have adopted styles from the Islamic style calligraphy.

      Salam alaykum, most of the above images are from deviant art, the owners there have defined how you can use it, all you need to do is click on the image and then ask the owner if you can use it. Enjoy
